Emoji Co. and Unis Technology Strengthen Partnership to Develop New Family Entertainment Centers

The iconic emoji is expanding its reach beyond the digital realm and entering physical locations due to an expanded deal between Emoji Co. and Unis Technology. The Emoji brand is recognized across various categories of products, entertainment, and more, with its yellow faces expressing a range of emotions that are instantly familiar to consumers. Through a partnership facilitated by WildBrain CPLG, Emoji and Unis Technology are collaborating to create new family entertainment centers (FEC).

Unis Technology’s General Manager, Steven Tan, sees the collaboration as a significant milestone in bringing the iconic Emoji brand to life in a unique and vibrant manner through Emojiplanet Arcade Centers. These centers will offer fans the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Emoji like never before. The plan is to launch flagship locations in the U.S., Canada, and China before expanding to other countries globally, providing visitors with emoji-themed arcade games, crane machines, exclusive merchandise, and more.

Unis Technology is best known for its immersive amusement games, such as the Piñata Smashlings Crane game and The Addams Family coin-op game. The Emoji brand already has over 1,400 licensing partners, including major names like Sony Pictures Animation and Burger King.

According to Marco Huesges, the CEO and Founder of Emoji Co. GmbH, the new entertainment centers will serve as physical spaces where families can interact with the Emoji brand in a fun and interactive environment. Overall, this partnership aims to bring the popular Emoji characters out of digital screens and into real-life experiences for fans to enjoy.
