A strategic partnership between the Ministry of Youth in Jordan and the International Labour Organization (ILO) led to the development of the “Goal for Life” programme, which was implemented by Mudarrib, a sports consultancy known for its expertise. Mudarrib, a social enterprise registered with the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), collaborated with the ILO to focus on empowering women by creating employment opportunities and reducing unemployment rates.

The programme aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to work in gyms, educational institutions, and various sports facilities. By utilizing the media effectively, the Goal for Life programme seeks to challenge misconceptions and stereotypes about women’s capabilities.

Through this initiative, women are able to access training and employment opportunities in the sports industry, contributing to their empowerment and economic independence. By addressing barriers and providing support, the programme promotes gender equality and facilitates the inclusion of women in traditionally male-dominated fields. This partnership between the Ministry of Youth, ILO, and Mudarrib highlights the importance of collaboration in creating sustainable solutions for women’s empowerment and economic development in Jordan.
