U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), Ranking Member of the Senate Small Business Committee, announced The Landmark Bistro of Grundy County as her Small Business of the Week. Throughout this Congress, Ernst plans to highlight a small business in each of Iowa’s 99 counties.
Founded in 2015 by Jill Krausman, The Landmark Bistro is known for its delicious local food, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service. The restaurant offers salads, burgers, and sandwiches for dine-in or takeout. Krausman’s goal was to create a community gathering space and quality restaurant in Grundy Center that honors the local community with its design and décor.
Jill Krausman and her team at The Landmark Bistro have been recognized for their contributions to the hospitality industry. Krausman was named one of the 40 Women to Watch by the Iowa Restaurant Association and The Landmark Bistro was featured on Travel Iowa’s 99 Counties, 99 Restaurants list. This year, The Landmark Bistro will celebrate its ninth business anniversary.
