The Noida Authority recently took action to reclaim 18 acres of land valued at Rs 308 crore that had been illegally occupied by land mafias. These mafias had encroached upon government land in various sectors, villages, and areas along the Noida Expressway with the intention of selling plots to unsuspecting buyers.

The targeted areas for the anti-encroachment drive included villages such as Sorkha Zahidabad, Salarpur, Asadullapur, Mohiyapur, Sadarpur, Mamura, Garhi Samastipur, Gulawali, and Salarpur Khadar. These locations had been identified as hotspots for illegal land occupation by mafias looking to profit from their fraudulent activities.

Through concerted efforts and strategic planning, the Noida Authority was able to successfully free the 18 acres of land from the clutches of the land mafias. This action not only prevented further illegal land transactions but also safeguarded the interests of the public who could have fallen victim to these fraudulent schemes.

By cracking down on land mafias and reclaiming the valuable government land, the Noida Authority demonstrated its commitment to upholding the rule of law and ensuring the protection of public property. This decisive action sends a strong message to those engaged in illegal land activities that such behavior will not be tolerated, and that the authorities will take firm action to preserve the integrity of the land and protect the rights of the public.
