The Lakeside/Somers Chamber of Commerce is hosting its April BASH at the West Shore Community Library on April 30 at 4 p.m. This event offers the opportunity to learn about new developments at the library and network with other local businesses.

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce is organizing its fourth Growth Summit on May 2 from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Red Lion Hotel. The aim of this summit is to promote discussions and knowledge-sharing to determine community values, advocacy priorities, and find solutions to ensure positive growth for Kalispell. Registration for the event is $110 and can be completed on their website.

The Montana Manufacturing Extension Center will be conducting Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points Training for Meat Processors and Food Manufacturers on May 8-9 at Montana West Economic Development in Kalispell. This training will educate participants on the requirements of the Preventive Controls for Human Food regulation of the Food Safety Modernization Act, and the benefits of creating or updating a HACCP Plan. The training is free, but space is limited, so interested parties are encouraged to register on their website.

The Bigfork Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its May Sundowner on May 9 at 5 p.m. at the Tall Pine in Bigfork. This event is an opportunity to network with local business professionals and get informed about upcoming community events.

The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce will be holding its May membership luncheon on May 14 at 11:30 a.m. at Cedar Creek Lodge in Columbia Falls. The keynote speaker for the luncheon is Doug Mitchell, the executive director of the Glacier National Park Conservancy. Attendees will have the chance to network with other local professionals and gain insight from the guest speaker.
