Fredonia Dominates at Orange Bowl | Latest News, Sports Highlights, Job Updates

In a Division 2 South flag football game at the Orange Bowl in Fredonia, Fredonia’s Ella Koopman attempted to grab the flag of Southwestern’s Ava Patti. Koopman had an impressive performance, throwing for five touchdown passes in a dominant 80-0 victory for Fredonia. She finished with 137 passing yards and also added 47 rushing yards with another score.

Francesca Pucci contributed a team-high 99 rushing yards and a touchdown, along with 28 receiving yards and another touchdown. Natalia DiPalma ran for 73 yards and two touchdowns. Other players like Makayla Tabone, Juliana Snyder, Madelyn Polhamus, Keiliany Diaz, and Ashlynn Delcamp also caught touchdown passes for Fredonia.

On the defensive side, Bryleigh Wicks had five flag pulls, two interceptions, and a pass defended. Elizabeth Morris added two flag pulls and two sacks, while Paige Elliott had three interceptions, one of which she returned for a touchdown. Brianna Whitfield also recorded an interception.

Fredonia had a commanding 54-0 lead at halftime in this one-sided contest.
