Friday Politics: The Unfinished Matters in the Capitol

As the Minnesota Legislature’s 2024 session enters its final two weeks, there is much to be accomplished in terms of votes, negotiations, and unexpected developments. One major piece of business that remains unresolved is the bonding bill, which contains a list of construction projects that require state approval to move forward. On Friday at noon, MPR News host Brian Bakst will be discussing the construction financing plan with the chair of the House Capital Investment Committee as it nears completion.

In addition to the bonding bill, there is the upcoming Senate Ethics Committee hearing that will address the conduct of two members of the chamber. MPR News will provide coverage and insight into what to expect during this important hearing.
