Google introduces Pixel 8a and Pixel Tablet in Italy with details on features and prices

Google recently unveiled its new smartphone, the Pixel 8a, along with officially announcing the arrival of the Pixel Tablet in Italy. The Pixel 8a boasts a 6.1-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, making it ideal for gamers and multimedia enthusiasts. The phone is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and features a maximum brightness of 2000 nits, ensuring visual quality in various lighting conditions. Despite its compact size, the Pixel 8a is powered by a 4492 mAh battery with up to 72 hours of battery life and supports fast and wireless charging options.

In terms of performance, the Pixel 8a is equipped with the Google Tensor G3 processor and Titan M2 security coprocessor, promising efficiency in handling applications and protecting personal data. The phone also features an impressive 64 MP rear camera and a 13 MP ultrawide camera for high-quality images. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, 5G, and various satellite navigation systems. Pre-orders for the Pixel 8a will start on May 7th, with the phone available for sale on May 14th at a launch price of 549 euros.

Additionally, Google introduced the Pixel Tablet, which features an 11-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The tablet serves as a media consumption device and a home hub with an integrated cradle for smart home control. The Pixel Tablet’s design is both elegant and modern, made with sustainable and recycled materials. It includes features like Google Meet for HD video calls and provides up to 12 hours of video streaming on a single charge. The tablet is also the first to have Chromecast built-in for easy media sharing. Prices for the Pixel Tablet start from 499 euros for the 128 GB version, with various launch offers available on the Google Store, Amazon, Unieuro, and Vodafone.
