Apr 23, 2024

Google has recently announced that its content platform Google Podcasts, which was shut down in the United States in April, will also be discontinued internationally between mid-to-late June. Last September, the company revealed its plan to phase out Google Podcasts by 2024 and to focus on investing in the format within YouTube Music. As part of this transition, Google provided tools and guides to creators who wanted to move their content to YouTube Music.

In December of that same year, Google shared a schedule for discontinuing Google Podcasts, stating that the platform would be ending in the United States by April 2024. This information has now been updated on their support website to indicate that users outside of the U.S. will have access to Google Podcasts until mid-to-late June 2024. Users worldwide will have until July 29, 2024, to migrate or export their subscriptions to YouTube Music. This can be done directly from the Google Podcasts app, where an ‘Export subscriptions’ button has been added to the main screen.

In the midst of this transition, various other topics were mentioned in the original content, such as gambling websites, torrent downloading, and discussions on different online platforms. While these topics may vary in nature, the common thread among them is the exploration of various online platforms and experiences. Each website or platform discussed offers a unique perspective or service to its users, highlighting the diverse range of content available online.
