The stock market saw some significant gains and losses today. On the other hand, Forward Air (FWRD) was down 22%, Alta Equipment Group (ALTG) and BGSF both saw an 18% decrease, Mingteng International Corporation (MTEN) dropped by 16%, and Safe & Green Holdings Corp (SGBX) was down 15%.
In terms of the S&P 500 Industrials Sector, it saw a 0.7% increase, rising to 1059.63. The Capital Goods sector, which makes up 69.8% of the index, increased by 0.79% to 1156.81. Commercial & Professional Services also saw a 0.4% increase, reaching 623, while Transportation was up by 0.63% to 1011.28.
Overall, the Industrial Select Sector SPDR ETF showed mixed results with some sectors seeing gains while others experienced losses. It will be interesting to see how these trends develop in the coming days.
