Gulf stocks show mixed performance with 0.2% increase in Saudi index

Stock performance in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries was mixed on Tuesday. In the UAE, the Abu Dhabi market index rose slightly, while the Dubai market index fell. In Saudi Arabia, the TASI index rose, recording gains for the second consecutive session. ACWA Power and Middle East Pharmaceutical Manufacturing saw gains, while Ma’aden fell.

In Kuwait, the general index of the stock exchange rose slightly. Bahrain’s general index also saw a small increase in trading volume. Qatar’s index, however, fell as certain stocks experienced declines. The Muscat Stock Exchange index rose slightly.

Outside the Gulf region, Egypt’s leading stock index fell significantly to its lowest level in four months, with most listed stocks incurring losses. Talaat Mostafa and Commercial International Bank were among the companies that saw declines in stock prices.
