Gurman reports fading demand for Apple Vision Pro after strong start

Interest in Apple’s mixed reality device, the Vision Pro, is declining, contrary to initial expectations. Mark Gurman reports that few users are making appointments to test the viewers, and sales have decreased. Gurman notes that some Apple Stores are selling only a few Vision Pros in a week, compared to two a day previously. Demand for demonstrations of the device has also significantly decreased since its launch, with people who book appointments not showing up at stores.

When the Vision Pro was launched in February, Apple fans eagerly waited in line outside stores in New York to try out the new device. However, enthusiasm for the product seems to have waned since then. One possible reason for the decline in interest in the Vision Pro is its limited availability and high price, starting at $3,500. Gurman suggests that in the United States, owners of the device may no longer find it as attractive. Additionally, the lack of additional applications and the inconvenience of using it in public places could be contributing to the drop in interest.

Overall, it seems that once highly anticipated, the Apple Vision Pro is now experiencing a decline in interest due to various factors such as limited availability, high price, and lack of functionality in certain settings.
