During his visit to the Anbar governorate, Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani visited the Anbar combined power station project in the Euphrates district. Al-Sudani held a meeting at the project headquarters with the executing company to review the progress of the ongoing executive work. He directed a speedy completion of the project in accordance with required specifications, emphasizing that no delays are acceptable after the government has provided all necessary requirements for the station’s completion.

The meeting also involved a review of the electricity service status throughout the governorate and a follow-up on the Akkas gas project, which will provide fuel for the Anbar power station once completed. The Anbar power station is considered one of the important strategic projects in Iraq, with work starting in 2013. Due to the interruption caused by the occupation of the governorate by ISIS terrorist groups, work on the project was halted for approximately 8 years. However, the government’s efforts to remove obstacles to lagging projects led to work being resumed and the project is now 50% complete with a completion target in December 2022.

The station consists of four gas units with a capacity of 273 megawatts and two steam units with a capacity of 275 megawatts. The project aims to provide the national grid with an electrical capacity of 1640 megawatts using local natural gas from the Okaz gas field as fuel. This will help reduce the cost of energy production and ensure stability in energy supply.

In addition to the project update, the content also includes information on tarot readings and psychic services in various cities, digital payment solutions, pharmaceutical fraud, and travel tips. It seems like a mix of news, services, and advertisements in the content.
