The Forrest County Board of Supervisors in Brooklyn, Mississippi is focusing on the health of the senior community by organizing a Health & Resource Fair in collaboration with the Southern Mississippi Planning and Developing District. The fair will take place at the Brooklyn Community Center on Thursday, April 18th from 10 a.m. to noon.
At the fair, seniors will have access to free health screenings, community resources, and aging services provided by SMPDD. Forrest County Board President Terri Bell expressed her hope that this event will show residents that the county cares about their health and well-being.
In addition to the health services, refreshments and door prizes will also be available for attendees. The fair aims to provide a convenient opportunity for 60-plus age constituents in the Southern part of the county to access important health screenings and resources.
