High Schools Ranked by U.S. News & World Report

The U.S. News & World Report recently published its rankings of the top high schools in the country, with almost 400 Indiana schools making the list. The rankings are determined by factors such as statewide standardized testing results, graduation rates, and data from exams like the College Board and International Baccalaureate. They also consider information from the U.S. Department of Education.

Out of approximately 25,000 public schools reviewed, 395 schools in Indiana made the rankings. The top schools were noted for having high rates of students scoring above average in math, science, and reading assessments, as well as passing college-level exams and graduating within four years.

Some of the top high schools in Indiana according to the report include Signature School in Evansville, The Indiana Academy in Muncie, and West Lafayette Jr./Sr. High School. These schools were recognized for their academic excellence and high achievements by their students.

In the Indianapolis metro area, schools like Zionsville Community High School, Herron High School, and Carmel High School were listed among the top 10 high schools. These schools stand out for their educational quality and success in preparing students for college and beyond.
