Danquah, along with nine other undergraduate students from ASA, successfully organized and managed the conference, which boasted a speaker lineup of 10 individuals this year compared to just three the previous year. The event drew attendees not only from Bentley but also from other institutions, including Tufts University student Kristen Barth. Barth was particularly moved by the keynote address delivered by Jean-Paul Adam, which focused on policy-making, international collaboration, and fostering unity among African nations. She expressed her gratitude to the Bentley African Student Association team for putting together such an impactful event, stating that it had renewed her commitment to contributing meaningfully to the development of her homeland, Ghana, and Africa as a whole.

The success of the conference can be attributed to the dedication of the ASA student teams responsible for planning various aspects of the event, such as marketing, outreach, and operations. They took on tasks like budgeting, securing speakers and sponsors, arranging facilities, and promoting the conference. In the early stages of planning, they met with Bentley President E. LaBrent Chrite, who offered support and encouragement.

Danquah expressed appreciation for the support from Bentley leadership, noting that having President Chrite’s backing made hosting the African Business Conference much easier. She highlighted the importance of creating a platform for conversations not only among students but also with alumni and professionals. With this support, Danquah believes that the conference has the potential to grow significantly in the future, paving the way for even greater success.
