Lestiselle was initially unfamiliar with investing until his brothers introduced him to the world of investing seven years ago. They were enthusiastic investors and convinced Lestiselle to open a value share account with Nordnet when he turned 18. They started with shares in the packaging manufacturer Huhtamäki using money earned from working at Prisma and as gifts. Lestiselle’s brother explained that supporting companies by investing in them is a way of promoting them, even with small amounts of money.

Currently, Lestiselle works as the editor-in-chief of Mimmit Invests media, which was founded in 2018 by Pia-Maria Nickström and Hanna Tikander. Mimmit Invests aims to provide accessible and engaging content about investing through podcasts, events, and articles. Lestiselle’s personal investment strategy involves managing his investments with index funds and occasionally picking individual stocks.

He started blogging for Mimmit Invests in 2020 and later became the editor-in-chief. In his role, he oversees various tasks ranging from writing articles to creating strategies for the company. The content produced by Mimmit Invests aims to make financial information easily accessible and engaging for young people, providing a different perspective compared to traditional financial media outlets.

Lestiselle started investing more regularly during his time at Danske Bank, where he learned about low-cost index funds. He has a monthly savings contract with Nordnet, where he invests in listed index funds. While he primarily focuses on index funds, Lestiselle occasionally makes individual stock selections. He believes that investing should be seen as a form of self-care and aims to build a positive attitude towards investing.

In collaboration with Pia-Maria Nickström, Lestiselle recently published an investment guide that covers not only investing but also social and economic concepts. The book aims to educate readers about basic economic principles and their implications, providing a broader understanding of the world and financial markets. Lestiselle believes that investing is not just about managing personal finances but also about gaining a better understanding of the world around us.
