Hudson recognized as a top science educator by NSTA

Shannon Sullivan Hudson, a science teacher at Crawfordsville Middle School, was recently honored by the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA). The NSTA awards program acknowledges the exceptional work and accomplishments of K-12 teachers, principals, professors, and other science education professionals.

Hudson was recognized during a special evening Teacher Awards event held at the NSTA National Conference on Science Education in Denver, Colorado, on March 22nd. The event serves as a platform to celebrate outstanding educators in the field of science education.

Julie A. Luft, the President of NSTA, expressed her excitement for the annual Awards ceremony, calling it one of her favorite events. Luft emphasized the importance of recognizing and celebrating exceptional science teachers and students, highlighting their dedication to learning, leadership, and innovation.

As a faculty member who collaborates with teachers, Luft finds the group of awardees to be inspiring.
