The Ministry of Communications has determined that drones imported by a certain company are operating in frequency ranges that could potentially interfere with security forces’ wireless communications. This violation has been classified as aggravated and illegal, as it was discovered during a proactive inspection conducted by Senior Vice President Aya ben Porat and the Spectrum Division of the Ministry.
Director General Einbal from six stated that importing drones that transmit on prohibited frequencies during wartime is a serious offense, and the ministry will take action to prevent such violations and enforce penalties against those responsible. The Ministry of Communications conducts daily inspections on hundreds of wireless communication devices, and strict fines and enforcement measures will be implemented against companies that do not comply with regulations and put IDF activities at risk.
