Packers running back Josh Jacobs participated in Tuesday’s organized team activity, but his involvement was limited due to a hamstring injury, as reported by Matt Schneidman of TheAthletic.com. Packers coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Jacobs is currently working through this injury, but reassured fans that he is on the mend and is expected to return to full strength soon.

Despite his limited participation in practice, Jacobs signed a lucrative four-year, $48 million deal with the Packers during the offseason. He is expected to take over as the team’s RB1, replacing the departed Aaron Jones. Jacobs had an impressive career with the Raiders, rushing for 5,545 yards and scoring 46 rushing touchdowns, including a league-leading 1,653 yards in 2022.

LaFleur’s comments suggest that Jacobs’ injury is not a cause for panic and that the team anticipates his return to action in the near future. Fans will be keeping a close eye on Jacobs’ recovery as the Packers prepare for the upcoming season.
