The 2024 Pan American Artistic Gymnastics Championship is set to take place from May 22 to 26 in Santa Marta. Over 200 gymnasts from countries across the Americas will be participating in the event, which will be broadcast live on the Panam Sports Channel.
A total of 23 countries will be represented at the championship, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, United States, and Venezuela, among others. The participants are divided into adult and youth categories for both men and women.
Several delegations will be showcasing their top athletes at the event, such as Panama, which boasts world medalists Hillary Herón and Karla Navas. Brazil will have Pan American medalists and Olympic athletes Diego Soares and Caio Souza competing in the men’s category.
The Panam Sports Channel has sent over 12 professionals to Santa Marta to cover the championship live. The opening ceremony is scheduled for May 22, followed by qualifying competitions and team award ceremonies. The competition will continue with individual finals and apparatus training over the following days, leading up to the finals on May 26.
