Kim Petras Pulls Out of Summer Festival Performances Citing ‘Health Issues’

Kim Petras, the 31-year-old superstar, made an announcement on social media on Wednesday (April 24) that she will be taking a break to heal. She revealed that she is canceling her scheduled festival performances this summer due to some health issues. Despite not providing specific details about her health problems, Petras expressed her devastation at having to make this difficult decision. She assured her fans that she loves them and promised to make it up to them by coming back better than ever soon.

Petras was set to perform at various festivals this summer, including Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Spain; Mighty Hoopla in London, England; Primavera Porto in Porto, Portugal; and Capitol Hill Block Party in Seattle, Washington. She was also announced as the headliner for LadyLand 2024, the annual Pride festival produced by New York nightlife connoisseur Ladyfag. Unfortunately, she will not be able to participate in these events due to her health issues.

In September, Petras released her French-pop album “Problématique” via Republic / Amigo Records, featuring 10 tracks that explore ecstatic pop sounds across various genres. The album includes songs like “Born Again,” “Deeper,” and “All She Wants” featuring Paris Hilton. Petras continued to release music in 2023 with another album called “Feed the Beast” in June, followed by “Slut Pop Miami” in February 2024. Her music showcases a range of styles and themes, with catchy beats and engaging lyrics.
