Local Teen Earns Master’s Degree in Computer Science from University of Pittsburgh

One local 17-year-old recently achieved a significant accomplishment by receiving a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh. RJ Krishnaswamy completed his bachelor’s degree at Pitt last year and expressed his happiness in having something tangible to showcase his hard work. He mentioned that the journey was challenging, including defending a thesis, but he was thrilled to celebrate this achievement.

During the graduation ceremony, Professor Daniel Mosse, who is a faculty member in the Computer Science department at the University of Pittsburgh, commended RJ for choosing the university for both his undergraduate and graduate studies. Mosse expressed his pride in RJ’s academic work and research projects, hinting at potential future publications from his research.

Having obtained his master’s degree, RJ is now contemplating his next steps in his academic career. While he is uncertain about his future plans, RJ revealed that he is eagerly waiting to hear back from Pitt regarding the potential start of his doctorate studies.
