She will be working with her team to facilitate collaboration between South Florida’s public and private sector leaders in preparation for welcoming over 600,000 fans and visitors during the summer of 2026. Miami will host seven matches for the event, including two semifinals and the bronze final, all to be held at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Describing the event as “like seven Super Bowls,” Lutoff-Perlo sees this opportunity as a significant honor. In her new role, she will collaborate closely with FIFA World Cup 2026 Miami Host Committee Co-chairs Rodney Barreto and Beau Ferrari. Royal Caribbean’s partnership with Inter Miami CF, as well as Lionel Messi’s involvement with the Icon of the Seas, ties the company to the world of soccer.
