Joey Fingland, a senior at New Ulm Cathedral, recently shot an 84 at the New Ulm Country Club during the Tomahawk Conference Golf Tournament. This helped lead his team to an early lead in the conference title race. In an interview conducted by Travis Rosenau, Fingland shared some insights about his favorite golfer, courses, food, hobbies, and movie.
When asked about his favorite golfer, Fingland mentioned Scottie Scheffler as the best but admitted he really likes Rory McIlroy. He raved about the Wild Rock course in Wisconsin Dells as his favorite golf course, noting its beauty and challenge. Fingland also shared that his favorite food is a hamburger and fries, especially the burger at the New Ulm Country Club.
Off the golf course, Fingland enjoys watching baseball and softball, as many of his friends play those sports. When it comes to movies, he chose Captain America: Civil War as his favorite. It’s clear that Fingland has a passion for golf and a well-rounded set of interests beyond the links.
