Michael Langman has recently taken on the role of vice president of commercial aerospace & defense sales and business development at SparkCognition. Prior to this position, he held the position of VP of strategy, sales, and business development for its government systems business. Langman shared the news of his transition to this new role at the multi-industrial corporate parent of SparkCognition Government Systems in a LinkedIn post on Friday.
Throughout his career, Langman has gained experience in various roles within the industry. He has worked as a corporate development/M&A executive at the former Rockwell Collins company, served as a managing director at The McLean Group, and held the position of senior director of corporate business development at Thales‘ U.S. business arm. Before joining SGS, he was a vice president at D-Fend Solutions.
Prior to his career in the industry, Langman spent five years serving in the U.S. Army, where he held the rank of captain before transitioning to the business sector. This diverse background has provided Langman with a unique perspective and valuable experience that he brings to his new role at SparkCognition.
