Microsoft has currently paused the launch of new features for Copilot in order to perfect them based on user feedback. The company will be hosting its annual developer conference, Microsoft Build, from May 21 to May 23, where more details and news about AI technology and its assistant are expected to be announced.

In addition, Microsoft has released Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 22635.3570 (KB5037008) in the Beta channel, which includes bug fixes from the previous version. The company has been testing different experiences for Copilot on Windows, with one new capability allowing Copilot to act as a normal application window and display a dynamic taskbar icon.

Despite these developments, Microsoft has decided to delay the deployment of these experiences to further refine them using user feedback. Copilot on Windows will continue to work as expected, while Microsoft works on developing new ideas with Windows Insider program participants.

The company also announced that it will document changes in Windows Beta Channel builds in two groups: one for new features, improvements, and fixes being gradually rolled out, and another for updates and new features available to everyone in the Beta Channel. These changes will be implemented gradually and will be optional for users.

Some of the corrections currently being implemented in the Beta Channel include fixes for wide spaces between desktop icons and unexpected address bar menus while using File Explorer, among others.
