Monday’s local events this week include a variety of high school sports competitions taking place in different locations. In prep baseball, Terra Linda will be playing at Branson at 4:30 p.m. at the College of Marin. For boys golf, the NCS D-II tournament will be held all day at Peacock Gap. In prep softball, Mt. Diablo will face San Rafael at 4:30 p.m. at San Rafael High School. Meanwhile, boys tennis will have the NCS D-II singles and doubles matches at Golden Gate Park.
Moving on to Tuesday, May 7, the schedule is packed with more high school sports action. In prep baseball, the MCAL semifinals will feature Marin Catholic at Redwood and Novato at San Marin, both starting at 4:30 p.m. In boys lacrosse, NCS D-I games include Monte Vista at Marin Catholic and De La Salle at Redwood, both at 5:30 p.m. Girls lacrosse matchups include Marin Catholic vs. Redwood and Acalanes vs. San Marin, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Boys tennis competitions on Tuesday include Heritage at Redwood, Marin Academy vs. Arcata, Middletown vs. Branson, San Domenico at Head-Royce, and Marin Catholic at Piedmont, with matches starting at various times throughout the day in different locations. It’s shaping up to be an action-packed couple of days for local high school sports enthusiasts.
