The Philadelphia Eagles recently drafted nine players in Detroit and will be signing some undrafted players to fill out their roster. In order to make space for these newcomers, the team made some roster moves on Monday. The NFL’s daily transaction report revealed that the Eagles have waived defensive tackle Noah Elliss, wide receiver Griffin Hebert, defensive back Tiawan Mullen, and offensive lineman Lecitus Smith. Additionally, they officially announced the signing of tackle Mekhi Becton.

Out of the four players cut from the roster, Lecitus Smith is the only one with regular season experience, although it was not with the Eagles. Smith had appeared in 10 games and made two starts for the Cardinals in 2022. The Eagles will be hosting their rookie minicamp this weekend, giving them their first opportunity to work with this year’s rookie class. More roster moves may come following the minicamp as the team continues to shape their roster for the upcoming season.
