Leder Games is gearing up to launch Arcs, a new science fiction strategy game created by Cole Wehrle, the talented designer behind Root and Oath. Set to be released in October, Arcs features captivating art by Kyle Ferrin that brings the dark yet whimsical universe to life.
In this game, players find themselves on the edge of the galaxy, where they must set their own objectives to compete with others. With the help of multi-use cards, players can seize the initiative by following the leader, changing tactics, or preparing for the next round of play. As players build up their navies and strategize with three different types of dice, battles are resolved through a single roll of the dice.
The game comes with a variety of components, including 100 wooden ships and agents, 18 beautifully engraved dice, a six-panel board, and numerous cards featuring over 60 unique pieces of art. Aimed at 2-4 players aged 14 and up, Arcs offers a playing time of 60-120 minutes, making it perfect for game nights with friends or family.
