The NFL has taken a significant step towards growing flag football by creating a new position of vice president, head of flag football, and hiring Stephanie Kwok to fill it. Kwok, an entrepreneurial leader and graduate of Harvard Business School, will be responsible for driving growth in flag football, both domestically and internationally. This includes increasing participation, engaging fans, and forming commercial and media partnerships.

Kwok, a passionate flag football player who played competitively for over 10 years, sees tremendous potential for the sport to grow, especially with the inclusion of flag football in the LA Olympics. She believes that expanding the accessibility and inclusivity of flag football will allow more kids to have the opportunity to play and enjoy the game.

With previous experience at companies like Reforge, FanDuel, and Madison Square Garden, Kwok brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to her new role with the NFL. As a co-founder of a company that organized competitive flag football tournaments for adults, she has a deep understanding of the sport and its potential for growth.

Reporting directly to Troy Vincent, the NFL’s executive vice president of football operations, Kwok is poised to help advance the sport of flag football and make it more affordable, accessible, and inclusive for players of all ages and backgrounds. Vincent expresses excitement about Kwok joining the team and her passion for expanding the game that has gained popularity worldwide.
