Nacon’s open-world survival game, Terminator Survivors, draws inspiration from the Arnold Schwarzenegger-led film series and features a relentless killing machine stalker, similar to those seen in the Resident Evil games. This stalker is described by Nacon as “a relentless and formidable hunter that cannot be stopped,” adding to the intense and oppressive atmosphere of the game. Set shortly after Judgment Day in 2009, players encounter a T-800 unit sent by Skynet to rewrite history and secure victory in the Future War.

The inclusion of a solo T-800 stalker in the game is meant to honor the lore of the Terminator franchise and provide players with an immersive experience that stays true to the films that inspired it. The constant pursuit by the T-800 adds a sense of dread and unease to the gameplay, heightening the focus on survival in the harsh post-apocalyptic world. Terminator Survivors is set to launch on October 24, just in time for Halloween.

Nacon’s adaptation of Terminator Survivors features a single T-800 stalker that serves as a reminder of Skynet’s relentless pursuit and the cyborg assassins central to the original Terminator movies. This addition aims to capture the essence of the first two Terminator films and maintain the integrity of the franchise’s lore. Players can expect an intense and immersive gameplay experience as they navigate a world where survival is key amidst the constant threat of the T-800.
