Hockey Canada has announced that Blues Assistant Coach Steve Ott has been selected as an assistant coach for Team Canada at the 2024 IIHF World Championship. The coaching staff will be led by head coach Andre Tourigny, with Dean Evason and Jay Woodcroft serving as assistants. The tournament is set to take place from May 10-26 in Prague and Ostrava, Czechia.

Hailing from Summerside, PEI, Ott will be making his international coaching debut at the upcoming championship.
