The Panthers have made history by being the first team to sign their entire draft class. On Thursday, the team announced that all seven picks are now under contract and ready to hit the field. The rookie minicamp is set to begin on Friday and will give fans the first look at the new class in action.
Leading the pack is first-round pick Xavier Legette, a talented receiver from South Carolina. Hailing from Mullins, South Carolina, Legette is eager to make his mark in the NFL and showcase his skills on the field. Unfortunately, second-round pick Jonathon Brooks will not be participating in the minicamp as he continues to recover from an ACL tear.
The rest of the draft class will be in attendance at the minicamp, including third-round linebacker Trevin Wallace, fourth-round tight end Ja’Tavion Sanders, fifth-round cornerback Chau Smith-Wade, sixth-round defensive tackle Jaden Crumedy, and seventh-round linebacker Michael Barrett. These young players are excited to get on the field and start their professional football careers with the Panthers.
