The Iraqi Interior Ministry is conducting an investigation into the murder that took place in eastern Baghdad on the night of April 27. Social media personality Jufran Saouadi, also known as Umm Fahad, was fatally shot near her home. Saouadi rose to fame for her videos where she danced to pop music in revealing outfits, attracting a following of about a million subscribers on the TikTok platform. The murder was captured by surveillance cameras, showing a motorcyclist in a black helmet approaching Saouadi’s car, shooting her as she sat behind the wheel, and then fleeing the scene.

In 2023, Saouadi had been sentenced to six months in prison for making “immodest speech and publishing video content that undermines public morals.” The investigation into her murder is ongoing to determine the motives behind the crime and bring the perpetrator to justice. Meanwhile, various activities and platforms, such as the NYC Civic Engagement Commission, Arctic Circle Trail, music promotion, and educational institutions like Cempaka College and Lindsey Wilson College, continue to thrive and engage with their respective communities. Websites such as lss.uky.edu, IMAN1, and Cursos Virtuales provide valuable resources and information to users looking to further their education and interests.
