The Portage County Health District is planning an Open House and Community Health Fair on April 3 from 2 to 6 p.m. at its office located at 999 E. Main St., Ravenna. During the event, attendees can expect to participate in hands-on educational events that showcase the district’s programs and services. Additionally, there will be more than 20 community partners present, each with educational tables and activities for visitors to enjoy.
Food trucks and giveaways will be available for attendees, along with activities for both children and adults. Information about health and community resources, as well as funding for septic issues, will be provided at the event. Non-profit organizations like United Way, Community Action Council, Family and Community Services, and various county agencies will also be on hand to offer valuable information to participants.
One of the highlights of the event will be a drawing for a Fitbit Inspire, which will be awarded as the grand prize to one lucky attendee. This Open House and Community Health Fair promises to be an informative and engaging event for all who attend.
