Recognition of Excellence and Service for Small Business Center Consultants at the University of Arizona

The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center consultants from the University of Arkansas were recognized as outstanding performers at the 2024 ASBTDC Spring Network Meeting in Little Rock. Mary Beth Brooks and Lori Lieblong were honored with the Capital Acquisition Award of Excellence for their contributions to helping clients attain loans and capital investments. Brooks assisted with $14 million while Lieblong helped attain $7 million in capital acquisitions. Both consultants also received recognition for the number of funded capital projects they worked on.

Additionally, Catherine Corley, Carolina Mejia, and Mary Beth Brooks were awarded Annual Employee Excellence as Values Ambassadors for their exceptional service, integrity, collaboration, impact, and inclusion. The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center at the University of Arkansas plays a crucial role in supporting small businesses in Northwest Arkansas. With offices in Fayetteville and Bentonville, ASBTDC consultants offer one-on-one confidential consulting, as well as in-person and virtual trainings and workshops to help entrepreneurs succeed.

Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration in partnership with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, the ASBTDC at the University of Arkansas is a unit of the Division of Economic Development. Their mission is to provide resources and support to help small businesses thrive and grow in Arkansas.
