The Brookline Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is welcoming residents to take part in a Human Services Resident Survey to provide feedback on their experiences with accessing services. The survey aims to identify any barriers residents face in accessing various human services and is available in Chinese, Russian, Spanish, and English.

This survey is part of the third phase of the Human Services Assessment and Gap Analysis initiated by the Department in October 2023, in partnership with consultants Kulik Strategic Advisors (KSA). In addition to the Resident Survey, KSA will be conducting focus groups with select populations to better understand the stories behind the data.

During the earlier phases of the assessment, KSA developed a resource inventory of human services in and around Brookline, covering areas such as childcare, employment support, food access, housing support, and healthcare. In the subsequent phase, the Human Services Assessment, KSA collected provider surveys and conducted key informant interviews.

Brookline DPHHS Director Sigalle Reiss expressed her enthusiasm for the launch of the Resident Survey, emphasizing the Department’s commitment to improving human services in the community. She stated that residents’ input through the survey will directly contribute to enhancing accessibility and effectiveness in Brookline’s services.

Residents who complete the survey will receive a $10 gift card for their time. For any questions about the Resident Survey, individuals can contact Marcos Alcorn at malcorn@kulikstrategic.com.
