Sony Unveils BRAVIA 7, 8, and 9 TVs and BRAVIA Theater Speakers for a Home Cinema Experience

Sony has unveiled its new BRAVIA televisions, including the models 7, 8, and 9, with a special highlight on the BRAVIA 9 model for its Mini LED technology. This technology allows for exceptional image luminosity, deep blacks, superior contrast, and natural colors. Sony also introduced new BRAVIA Theater home audio products to enhance the cinematic sound experience at home.

With the rise of streaming services offering a wide range of movie content, Sony aims to revamp the BRAVIA brand as a collection of devices specifically designed for watching films. The company’s goal is to enrich the home theater experience by combining televisions, sound bars, and other home audio technologies.

The new BRAVIA 7, 8, and 9 televisions are equipped with Sony’s XR processor, which features a scene recognition system for analyzing data with high precision to optimize images for maximum realism. The BRAVIA 9 models stand out for their QLED Mini LED panel, 4K Ultra HD resolution, and sizes of 75 and 85 inches. These televisions offer exceptionally high brightness and precise backlight control for a more detailed viewing experience.

The BRAVIA 9 series also includes technologies like Backlight Master Drive, X-Anti Reflection, and X-Wide Angle, which enhance picture quality and viewing angles. In terms of sound quality, the BRAVIA 9 televisions feature Acoustic Multi-Audio+ technology, delivering cinema-like surround sound.

Additionally, Sony introduced the BRAVIA Theater line of home audio products, including sound bars and speakers designed to create an immersive audio experience similar to movie theaters. The products feature technologies like 360 Spatial Sound Mapping and Optimized Sound Field for a rich and enveloping sound experience.

Sony’s new BRAVIA televisions and home audio products can be controlled through the BRAVIA Connect app, allowing users to adjust settings and functions without disrupting their viewing experience. The products are now available for reservation with prices starting at 2,999 euros for the BRAVIA 7 model and going up to 4,599 euros for the BRAVIA 9 model. The BRAVIA Theater Bar 8 and 9 sound bars are priced at 999 euros and 1,399 euros respectively, while the BRAVIA Theater Quad speaker costs 2,700 euros. The portable BRAVIA Theater U speaker is available for 299 euros.
