The Thien Cung space station recently collided with space debris, causing damage to the solar battery which was successfully repaired by astronauts of the Shenzhou 17 mission. They performed two spacewalks outside the Tiangong station to repair the damage, with the most recent one on March 1st. China has announced plans to strengthen measures to handle space debris to prevent future incidents.

The China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) confirmed the success of the spacewalks at a press conference on April 24th. They also mentioned that they will be taking more active measures in the future to ensure the safety of their space stations against space debris. It was not specified whether the debris that damaged the Thien Cung station was from micrometeorites or human activity, both of which pose a threat to space stations like Thien Cung and the International Space Station (ISS).

With the increasing amount of space debris from human activities, monitoring and avoiding collisions has become more crucial. China is enhancing its ability to forecast orbits of space stations and optimize warning and collision avoidance procedures. They also plan to reduce false alarm rates and increase space debris resilience by installing equipment during spacewalks.

In addition to focusing on space debris management, there has been a recent trend in articles and blogs discussing the importance of credit monitoring apps for financial security. These apps help individuals keep track of their credit scores and provide alerts for any suspicious activity. They are seen as a proactive measure to prevent financial fraud and maintain a healthy credit score.

In conclusion, while space stations like Thien Cung are working to prevent damage from space debris, individuals can also take steps to protect their financial well-being by utilizing credit monitoring apps. These apps offer a valuable tool for managing credit scores and ensuring financial security in today’s digital age.
