Stocks continue to fall in Helsinki on Wednesday

On Wednesday, the Helsinki Stock Exchange experienced a slight decline, with the OMXH general index dropping by 0.1 percent to 9,735.18 points. This marked the sixth consecutive day of decline for the general index. The most traded stocks of the day included Nordea (+1.2%), Roots (+0.9%), and Sampo (+0.4%), while Kone (-0.9%), Stora Enso (-0.9%), and Cargotec (-1.0%) saw decreases.

Fund company Titanium issued an earnings warning, projecting that the current year’s turnover will fall below the target level. This news caused Titanium’s stock price to drop by 7.9%. Meanwhile, the IT company Tecnotreen saw a 5.3% increase in its stock price, and the CEO exchanged holdings for debentures.

Sanoma Media Finland announced the conclusion of change negotiations resulting in the termination of eight employees. Parent company Sanoma’s stock price rose by 0.4% to 7.15 euros. Fortum signed a five-year electricity sales agreement with Swedish ferroalloy producer Werewolf Alloyxen, and Wärtsilä secured a contract for power generators in Texas.

On the recommendation front, analysts made several changes, including lowering target prices for Oma Säästöpankki and Honkarakenne, raising target prices for Huhtamäki and Stora Enso, and changing recommendations for Mandatum and Kesko, among others.
