Next weekend, Pokémon players from around the world will gather at ExCeL London for three days of exciting battles in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games, and Pokémon GO and Pokémon UNITE with the aim to qualify for this year’s Pokémon World Championships in Honolulu. Championship Points and a prize pool worth thousands of dollars will be up for grabs for the winners across the Pokémon TCG, Pokémon video games, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE competitions.
The championships will be streamed live on Twitch. The schedule for each day’s events and corresponding commentators for the Pokémon TCG, Pokémon Scarlet, Pokémon Violet, Pokémon GO, and Pokémon UNITE categories are outlined below:
For the Pokémon TCG, coverage will be available on Twitch.tv/PokemonTCG with commentators Alex Dao, Chip Richey, Ethan Hegyi, Freya Pearce, and Mike Ellis. The streaming schedule will be from 10:00 to 23:00 Italian time on Friday and Saturday, with the finals beginning at 12pm ET on Sunday.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet streaming will be provided on Twitch.tv/Pokemon with commentators Charlie Merriman, Kosta Daidimos, Labhaoisa Akcos-Cromie, Lee Provost, and Sierra Dawn. The stream times are from 10:00 to 21:00 Italian time on Friday and 10:00 to 22:00 Italian time on Saturday, with the finals starting at 3:30 PM ET on Sunday.
Streaming for Pokémon GO can be accessed on Twitch.tv/PokemonGO with commentators Leonard König, Martijn Versteeg, Ryan Hackeley, Steven Sanders, and Zoë Nowak. The streaming schedule will be from 10:00 to 22:00 Italian time on Friday and Saturday, with the finals beginning at 10 a.m. ET on Sunday.
Lastly, the Pokémon UNITE competition can be watched on Twitch.tv/PokemonUnite with commentators Evan Hashimoto, Jake Sprague, Joshua Hiebert, and Kirk Dube. The streaming schedule is from 10:00 to 20:00 Italian time on Friday and from the quarter-finals to the grand final starting at 10:00 Italian time on Saturday.
