SUV crashes into dog grooming business in Livingston County, leaving 1 person injured

A dog grooming business in Pinckney, Michigan experienced significant damage when an SUV drove into the building. The incident occurred on a regular Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. at 139 North Howell Street. The driver, a 78-year-old woman from Saline, accidentally crashed into the front of the building, causing chaos.

During the accident, a 56-year-old male employee of the establishment was struck by the vehicle. Fortunately, he only sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Livingston County EMS. The front door of the building was severely damaged, and the SUV’s front end was also damaged, rendering it undrivable.

Authorities are currently investigating the incident, but have confirmed that no serious injuries were reported. The dog grooming business will likely need extensive repairs to get back up and running after this unexpected event.
