The Latin American Music Awards took place live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where Feid and Peso Pluma were the top nominees with 12 nods each. Other top nominees included Bad Bunny, Grupo Frontera, Karol G, Shakira, Eslabon Armado, and Fuerza Regida. Thalia, Becky G, Alejandra Espinoza, and Carlos Ponce co-hosted the awards in a bilingual broadcast, making history as the first major U.S. awards show to do so.
