Erika Guevara-Rosas, Amnesty International’s senior director, called for immediate access for human rights investigators and forensic experts to the occupied Gaza Strip to preserve evidence and conduct thorough investigations into the alleged war crimes.
In response, the United States criticized reports in Israeli media that Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich was seeking to legalize 68 outposts in the West Bank. Deputy spokesperson Vedant Patel stated that such actions are dangerous, reckless, and undermine the peace process.
