The official trailer for season four of “The Boys” has been released by Amazon Studios. During the inaugural CCXP fan convention in Mexico, stars of the Emmy-winning show such as Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Chace Crawford, Karen Fukuhara, and Claudia Doumit showcased the explosive trailer. A teaser for the series was previously revealed at CCXP in Brazil in December.

Karl Urban’s character Butcher opens the nearly three-minute trailer with a reflection on the messes he has made in his life. He admits to not having enough time to fix them all and expresses the need for his team to come together to make things right. The upcoming season finds the world on the brink, with Victoria Neuman, played by Doumit, close to the Oval Office and under the control of Homelander, portrayed by Starr. Butcher, with limited time left to live, has lost Becca’s son and his leadership role with The Boys. The team is frustrated with his lies and must find a way to work together to save the world before it’s too late.

The success of “The Boys” has led to the creation of a college-set spinoff called Gen V. The full-length trailer for the original series confirms a crossover with the new spinoff, featuring Maddie Phillips and Asa Germann. Jack Quaid, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capone, Colby Minifie, and Cameron Crovetti round out the cast, with Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan joining for the new season.

Fans can expect “The Boys” season four to premiere on June 13, with three episodes being released on Prime Video that day. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly until the finale on July 18.
