Two injured and a building destroyed in Kharkiv attack

The Air Force announced on the Telegram messaging application that Russia had launched two anti-aircraft guided missiles. The spokesman of the Ukrainian Air Force, Ilya Jevlash, stated in a television broadcast that the Russian missiles were likely aimed at the city of Kharkiv in the northeast of the country. Kharkiv Region Governor Oleh Sinehubov reported that three residential houses were set on fire and many others were damaged as a result of the Russian attack, which targeted both infrastructure and residential areas. Photos published on Telegram by Sinehubov showed large flames coming from residential buildings. Two people, including an 11-year-old child, were wounded in the attack and are receiving medical treatment, according to Sinehubov on the Telegram messaging app. Reuters has not yet independently verified this news.Moscow denies targeting civilians in these “legitimate attacks on Ukraine’s military, energy and transport infrastructure”.
