In my opinion, Texas is the best state, with its stunning sunsets, beautiful summers, friendly folks, and great food. Just when you think you know everything about the state where you were born and raised, there is always more to discover. Recently, I learned about three of the greatest things ever invented that come from our fabulous Lone Star State.

I came across a page while browsing the internet that mentioned a few things that were invented in Texas that I never even knew about before. For example, did you know that Dell Computers were invented in Texas? Michael Dell, a student at the University of Texas, started his company by selling personal computers from his dorm room. It is incredible to think that such a well-known brand originated in our state.

Another surprising invention from Texas is breast implants, which were invented in 1962 by two men from Houston, Thomas Cronin and Frank Gerow. This is a remarkable contribution to the field of medicine and beauty. And of course, let’s not forget about Dr. Pepper, one of America’s favorite sodas, which was invented in Waco, TX by a pharmacist named Charles Alderton in 1885. It is a beloved beverage that many Texans enjoy.

It is impressive to think that our state has been the birthplace of some of the greatest inventions ever. Texas truly has a lot to offer, from its natural beauty to its innovative creations. It’s no wonder that so many people consider Texas to be the best state.
