The University of Idaho College of Science is hosting Vandal Science Days, a two-day science event on April 19-20 at the Integrated Research and Innovation Center (IRIC) in Moscow. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to the public free of charge. This event aims to provide hands-on science experiences for individuals of all ages.
Participants at Vandal Science Days will have the opportunity to engage in various science activities, interact with professors and students, and learn about the university’s science programs and projects. The event will feature hands-on science activities like a fossil dig and comet making, as well as special presentations by faculty members on topics including arsenic usage in beauty products and archaeochemistry.
In addition, workshops will explore the connection between science and music as part of the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, which will be taking place from April 17-20. This event promises to be an exciting and educational experience for all who attend.
