On Tuesday afternoon, four Raleigh middle school students from Carnage Magnet Middle School arrived in Dallas, Texas to compete in the Vex Robotics World Championship, the largest robotics competition in the world. The 8th graders earned their spot at the competition by winning the state robotics championship in February.

The team, made up of Vedhanth, Dhruva, Lashwin, and Sathvik, will be competing against young engineers from 50 different countries at the Dallas Convention Center. The competition includes challenges such as teamwork, robot skills, and a STEM research project.

The boys have named their team ‘A Few Bolt Men’ and are excited to showcase their hard work and skills on the international stage. The competition will last for several days, allowing the students to demonstrate their creativity and problem-solving abilities in the field of robotics.

We wish ‘A Few Bolt Men’ the best of luck as they represent Raleigh and compete against the best young talent from around the world at the Vex Robotics World Championship.
